Too many purchases these days are “let the buyer beware”. Long are gone the days of “if it breaks, we’ll make it better”. We live in an age of 30 day return policies, with product returns becoming a huge hassle for the customer. At Schlage, we endorse our 90 year tradition of high quality door hardware with a lifetime warranty on mechanical and finish wear.

i bought two sets of Schlage brass dead bolt locks 4years ago from Home depot in Canada and now both dead bolt locks do not work. I have been told by homed epot that dead bolt cyclinders were faulty and Schlage does not make them anymore. How do I make a claim or who do I contact?
Thankyou,
Deelip Desai.

I purchased a BE365 CAM 619 above a FE285 CAM 619 GEO a few years ago through Builders' Hardware Company (account # 3003122). They were installed at the same time and the door is protected by a storm door that always has the glass in it. The satin nickel finish on the outside of the BE365 turned a goldish color a couple years ago. I'm just getting around to fixing it. Would you like a picture of it?
